With over twenty years of experience teaching health and nursing related subjects in higher education my current role is Deputy Head of School, for the School of Medical and Health Sciences. My areas of teaching expertise are health care law, ethics, and end of life care, qualitative research and reflective practice in addition to other subjects. My research interests are in exploring practitioner’s views of professional standards and their accountability and supervision of systematic reviews. I am a registrant reviewer with the Nursing and Midwifery Council and have a wealth of expertise in curriculum development and quality assurance having supported the development and approval of numerous courses related to health and other academic subjects.
