Teaching and Supervision
I am happy to support anyone undertaking qualitative research into a public health or health-related topic, at any level. I can provide guidance on all aspects of the research process, from design, through the application of a theoretical framework, to analysis and dissemination.
Research Interests
I have research interests in a variety of global health topics, particularly the role of social and cultural settings on health behaviours where voluntary risk-taking plays a part in negative health outcomes. Currently, this involves exploring socio-cultural drivers of diseases such as HIV and diabetes where knowledge and risk behaviours are at odds.
Postgraduate Project Opportunities
I am willing to supervise a PhD
