Overview
Azlina is a lecturer in the School of Psychology and Sports Science. She holds a PhD in Psychology from the University of Nottingham, specialising in ageing and recognition memory, and an MSc in Clinical and Counselling Psychology. Trained as a clinical psychologist in Malaysia, she has experience working with adults, children, and adolescents facing various mental health challenges. With a decade of experience in higher education, Azlina teaches second-year modules in Clinical Psychology and Research Methods and supervises undergraduate and postgraduate research, including dissertation topics on mental health literacy, stigma, and related interventions. In addition to her academic roles, Azlina serves as the internationalisation tutor for the Department of Psychology.
