Shankland Lectures 2016
The Shankland Lectures are based upon treasures and rare material held in Bangor University’s Library and Archive. The lectures take place in The Shankland Library, where a selection of the books around which each talk is based will also be on display. The lectures begin at 5pm and last around an hour.
- 12 October. Mr Stephen Rees, School of Music, Fiddle Tunes from Anglesey. The session will include live music.

- 7 December. Professor Tom Corns, School of English Literature, ‘Not just a pretty face: portrait frontispieces and illustrated title-pages in early-modern England.”
