A permit is required by anyone wishing to park in the University’s vehicle parks in Bangor, Menai Bridge and Wrexham.
Parking permits are currently free whilst the University reviews its fees, advanced notice will be given before charges are reintroduced. Parking will remain free for blue badge holders.
Parking is available across the estate but not all areas are available to students. A map will be included with your permit and will outline student parking areas. Whether you live in halls or commute, your permit allows you to park in any of the student designated zones. Please only use marked spaces and avoid double yellow lines and hatch areas. Remember, having a permit does not guarantee a space.
Please do not apply for a permit until your registration is complete and you have your student ID number (500 number) and take care when entering your details. The form asks for your term time address, this is where we will send your permit. If you’d prefer for your permit to be delivered to your halls of residence, please wait until your room details are confirmed before applying.
We're offering a grace period to give students time to settle in and get their parking permits. This grace period ends on October 21, 2024.
If you are a blue badge holder or a student with impairment-related parking needs, further assistance is available via a Personal Learning Support Plan. If you would like to discuss disability / impairment-related parking needs, please contact Disability Services.
If you have any further questions we are here to help, please contact the Campus Services Helpdesk or telephone 01248 382783.
You can apply for a permit from September 11, 2024 when the link below is made active.
Please allow seven working days for us to process your application.
