During your time at Bangor University, you might challenge yourself to develop this attribute by taking on the things that you find more difficult.  You will be given a wide range of assignments, for example, designed to help you develop and utilize the skills employers are looking for.  Some of these may be things you’re less familiar with and we will support you as you learn new skills and take on new challenges.  We know that people find different things challenging, so Bangor University offers a wide range of support services that provide guidance for your academic life as well as wider issues such as employability and careers, finance and accommodation, and your wellbeing.

One of the most exciting aspects of any degree is discovering the fascinating elements of your chosen subject.  Your studies will give you access to the most recent findings, knowledge that has only just been uncovered by world-leading researchers.  You will find many areas of interest but your lectures are just the beginning of what you could explore.  Your course will teach you how to find out more.  You will learn how to find reliable information; how to identify gaps in that knowlege; and how to go about shaping the next questions research will ask and answer them too!
