Our next seminar will be held at 3pm on Friday 24th of June at the Duncan Tanner seminar room (39 College Road).
The invited speaker will be Dewi Bryn Jones from the Language Technologies Unit and the title of his talk is “Development and Evaluation of Speech Recognition for the Welsh Language.”
The talk will be given in Welsh but you can read his English paper on the subject in the newly published proceedings of the LREC Celtic Language Tehnologies Workshop on http://lrec-conf.org/proceedings/lrec2022/workshops /CLTW4/index.html
Remember also the cocktail hour between 4-5 pm following the event. Everyone is also welcome to attend, it’s a great opportunity to network, even if you can’t come to the seminar beforehand!
