Opportunity to obtain free Commercial Awareness Certificate
Bangor Law undergraduates are once again being offered the opportunity to attend a career-enhancing programme free of charge.
BPP Law School’s certificate of commercial awareness highlights the need for Law students to be commercially minded and to have business awareness and also offers a taster as to what to expect on a Legal Practice Course. The programme is offered free of charge to Bangor Law students thanks to BPP’s continued support of Bangor Students’ Law Society.
Law firms assess commercial awareness at each stage of the application process - application form, assessment centre and interview – and this programme enables students to tackle the sort of scenarios they may face. With feedback from top legal professionals on what makes a training contract application stand out, students looking to pursue this particular career path will find the programme particularly useful.
The first two sessions of the programme will be held in Main Arts Lecture Room 4 on Wednesday, 12 October 2011, between 12.00 and 2.00pm. Students who complete this stage will then be invited to attend a third and final session in Manchester in February 2012 in order to complete the course and to obtain the certificate.
Please note that places on the courses are limited, therefore students are advised to attend the first session promptly.
