Prestigious Visiting Professorship for academic in School of History, Law, and Social Sciences
Professor Lucy Huskinson has accepted the post of Visiting Professor at the Pontificia Universidad Católica De Chile, the highest ranked University in Latin America.
Professor Lucy Huskinson has accepted the post of Visiting Professor at the Pontificia Universidad Católica De Chile, the highest ranked University in Latin America. She joins other Visiting Professors to their Faculty of Philosophy from the Universities of Yale, Paris, Jena, and Texas, including Jean-Luc Marion, an eminent scholar and student of Jacques Derrida. Lucy’s recent monograph Architecture and the Mimetic Self will be translated into Portuguese by Brazilian publishers next year.
Of her achievement, Lucy says, “It’s lovely to know that my ideas have sparked interest in South America”. This month, Lucy’s monograph Nietzsche and Jung was translated into Serbian and will be translated into Turkish next year.
