ESRC Small Grant Awarded

Dr Simon Cottee has been awarded an ESRC small grant to undertake a research project on the experiences and challenges of ex-Muslims living in Britain. The project, entitled ‘The Apostates: A Qualitative Study of Ex-Muslims in Britain’, will begin in September 2011.   The project will be focusing on the experiences of a group of British ex-Muslims and explores the processes and consequences of leaving Islam for these apostates.   The project is supported by an ESRC small grant worth £70k.
