UBC Global Masters 2019-20 Grand Final
Congratulations to Raja Asad who single handed came an impressive sixth overall in a competitive UBC Global Masters 2019-20 Grand Final held as a virtual event on Thursday 2 April 2020. All teams overcame the global lockdown to make the day an outstanding and memorable learning experience.
The Global Masters is a simulation-based competition specifically designed to develop the employability skills of high-calibre postgraduate students. World-class business simulations give the opportunity to run a series of businesses enabling the development of an ‘entrepreneurial mindset’ and providing a real test of each team’s ability to drive business performance.

Competing in the UBC Postgraduate Global Masters competition provides an opportunity for personal and professional development that is intellectually challenging and practically relevant, equipping participants with essential employability skills.”
Raja commented "My experience with UBC has been tremendously valuable, I managed to learn how to run an existing established business in the first round and then to run a start-up from scratch in the Global Masters final.It has been a very unique experience and one where I developed a lot of my personal and professional skills. I would recommend anyone thinking to participate in the UBC Masters to absolutely go for it, it will be a great way to learn teamwork skills, decision-making, and presentation skills."
