Local schools perform at Theatr Bryn Terfel, Pontio this Christmas
Pontio is looking forward to welcoming three local schools to the Arts Centre for their Christmas shows and concerts as the festive season approaches.
First of all, Ysgol Tryfan, Bangor will present MELA, a comic and dramatic unfolding story about saving a local youth club! There will be a private performance for local primary schools in the afternoon and two public performances on the 13 + 14 December.
Pontio will also welcome Our Lady’s School, Bangor and Ysgol Llanllechid to perform their Christmas concerts. Our Lady’s School present ‘The Magical Christmas Jigsaw’ and ‘A Wriggly Nativity’ on Monday 18 December, and Ysgol Llanllechid welcome Côr y Penrhyn to celebrate the festive season, directed by Mrs Delyth Humphreys and Mr Arwel Davies on Tuesday, 19th December.

“Pontio is going to be a hive of entertainment throughout December, and it’s very important that we are able to offer our stage to local schools alongside our professional seasonal programme.”
