Bangor University Signs a New Agreement with the Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance
On 6 March, Bangor University signed a new agreement with the Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance (BIBF). Bangor Business School has worked with the BIBF since 2004. After such a successful period of collaboration the University is delighted to sign a new agreement extending and augmenting this partnership for the education of Bahraini undergraduate students in the fields of Banking, Finance, Islamic Finance and Accounting both at Bangor University and in Bahrain. The BIBF, affiliated with the Central BankofBahrain, was founded in 1981 and has developed a pivotal role in the development of human capital in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The new agreement was signed by Dr Ahmed Al Shaikh, the Director of the BIBF and Prof. Oliver Turnbull, Bangor University Pro Vice Chancellor (Teaching & Learning).
