Bangor University top of the Welsh class for Teaching Excellence
Bangor is the best University in Wales for its teaching, and is placed in the top 15 of UK universities for teaching excellence according to the Sunday Times University Guide for 2012. The University was awarded 79.3% in the league tables for this vitally important area.
Professor John G. Hughes, Vice-Chancellor of Bangor University said: “As a University we place a high value on excellent teaching and student care, so we’re delighted that the quality of our teaching has been recognised as the best in Wales.”
“High quality teaching is of paramount importance to students when selecting an University. Bangor has a long tradition of providing teaching and learning of the highest standard, in a caring and supportive environment so that students can maximise their potential.”
“We also provide first class student support and personal tutor support,” added Professor Hughes.
