Building our learning partnerships

Lifelong Learning already have a highly succesful and long standing partnership with CAIS delivering our level four psycho-social / substance misuse modules and supporting placements / work-based learning.

We are now building a new partnership with Community Development Cymru for the development of an all-Wales HE & Professional Certificate in Community Development. Practice and placement work will happen through CDC whilst the theoretical and study visit elements will be delivered through LL. These latter elements will be available online and in summer school mode.

CDC also contribute to our exisiting postgraduate programme in Community Development, which is delivered by a mix of academic tutors, practitioners and expert contribution.

Content is mapped to the latest national occupational standards and the programmes are being submitted for professional endorsement in the spring. This is in addition to the current academic validation.
