CoHaBS Excels in REF 2014
In the 2014 UK Government's REF research ranking exercise the CoHABS average GPA of 3.27 across the three units of assessment sees us ranked 6th in the UK when compared with overall institutional GPAs. This is a fantastic endorsement of the high quality research across the College of Health and Behavioural Sciences, and of a research environment that delivers meaningful impact. Bangor University as a whole has performed strongly in the REF, with the results placing the University in the UK’s top 40.
Professor Nicky Callow, Dean of the College, expressed her pleasure at the result: "I am absolutely delighted with the performance across the units of assessment within CoHaBS; it is testament to the hard work and dedication of our staff and students. These results, coupled with the excellent 2014 NSS scores in the College, exemplifies how we deliver on a learning environment that ranks amongst the very best in the UK and Internationally."
