Exciting new opportunity to study Social Policy through the Medium of Welsh offered
A new and exciting opportunity to study Social Policy at postgraduate level through the medium of Welsh is being offered by the School of Social Sciences.
The Scholarship, which starts on 1 October 2011, is funded by Y Coleg Cymraeg Cenedlaethol. It is one of six such Scholarships awarded to Bangor University- postgraduate students having already been recruited to study other topics across the University.

The School of Social Sciences has 38 full time academic staff members who teach and research in a wide variety of fields. Further information about the School and the research interests of staff members are available on its web site .
This new studentship is part of the University’s recent success in winning funding from Y Coleg Cymraeg Cenedlaethol for nine full time lectureship posts- to lecture in new fields previously unavailable in the Welsh language and six Welsh medium PhD Scholarships.
