Higher Education Academy Principal Fellowship
Dr Charles Buckley has been recognised as a Principal Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
This follows his National Teaching Fellow success in 2012. The award is in recognition of his contributions to the development of learning and teaching. Charles applied externally for the Principal fellowship and was congratulated for his work within the UK and abroad.
He currently works with a number of national committees including the Staff and Educational Development Association and is Nations Officer within the Committee for the Academy of National Teaching Fellows. Charles works as an Educational Developer and Director of the PGCertHE within the new Centre for Excellence in Learning and Teaching (CELT Unit) at Bangor.
Charles said: "I am thrilled to achieved Principal Fellowship and appreciate the support and opportunities given to me at Bangor. I look forward to being able to work with other colleagues who wish to apply for Fellowship status"
