Improved research output rating for the Business School
The Head of the Bangor Business School has welcomed the results of the 2014 Research Excellence Framework.
“We are very pleased with the higher rating of our research output compared to the previous exercise and that when adjusted for the proportion of staff included in the REF submission, we rank in the top 25% of business school in the United Kingdom,” said Professor John Thornton, Head of Bangor Business School.
“In combination with our 91% satisfaction rating in the 2014 NSS, students electing to study at Bangor Business School can be confident of a world class academic and student experience.
“We are particularly pleased by the high impact score for our research, which acknowledges its particular influence in the areas of banking competition, monetary policy and securitization, and small business research.”
