Research Overview

Stefanie Disbeschl is a Research Project Support Officer working as part of the Wales Interventions and Cancer Knowledge about Early Diagnosis (WICKED) Programme, based at the North Wales Centre for Primary Care Research (NWCPCR) in Wrexham. Her research interests are wide-ranging and include health inequalities, non-communicable diseases and accessibility of care. Prior to joining the NWCPCR, Stefanie was involved in research projects on national non-communicable disease surveillance practices in India as well as a major report on medical training and education for primary care in high-income countries.

Stefanie holds an MSc in Global Health from Maastricht University in the Netherlands.
