Andrea Jones, Senior Business Intelligence Officer

Andrea manages the Business Intelligence team and plays a lead role in developing integrated business intelligence solutions, overseeing the development and deployment of the University’s PowerBI Business Intelligence system, as well as external data products such as HEIDI Plus.  Andrea works closely with key staff to ensure an integrated approach to the provision of business intelligence, providing expertise in the effective interpretation, analysis and visualisation of data to inform decision-making across a broad range of topics.  Andrea also contributes to the development and implementation of the planning process for the University, providing support and advice in relation to strategic and business planning, and strategic approval of new programmes, for the College of Arts, Humanities & Social Sciences, and supports production of the University’s key performance indicators, and analysis of league tables. Andrea is a member of the Equality & Diversity Committee, and the Professional Services Equality& Diversity Committee.
