The business intelligence team produces a range of core statistics drawn from the University’s statutory reporting to the Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA).

We have provided key statistics for:  

• student numbers (level of study, mode of attendance, and a breakdown by academic school)
• student profile (gender, disability, domicile, and ethnicity)
• Welsh medium data (Welsh language ability and Welsh teaching load)
• degree classification (undergraduate class of degree awarded)
• student retention (in-year student retention)
• staff (headcount, FTE, academic & non-academic occupational groupings, gender and mode of employment)
