Guaranteed accommodation
If you apply through Clearing for a course that's based at our Bangor campus, you are guaranteed a place in University accommodation as long as you choose Bangor through UCAS by Thursday, 29 August, and book your place in halls by Monday, 2 September.
When you’ve selected Bangor University as your Clearing choice on UCAS, and we have processed and formally confirmed your place via UCAS, you will be sent an e-mail* with details of how to make an application for a place in University halls of residence. It will usually take 24–48 hours for the automatic halls application e-mail to be generated and sent to you.
You will be asked to go online and complete an application for a room in university halls of residence. The sooner that you confirm that you are taking up your Clearing place at Bangor University the sooner you can make your halls application.
If you apply for a room before Monday, 2 September, you may still be able to book the room of your choice online. For applications from Monday, 2 September, we will ask you to note your preference in terms of location, hall and room type, and we will allocate a room for you.
*Please note: The accommodation e-mail will be sent to the e-mail address you provided to UCAS. So you need to ensure that your contact details (and in particular your e-mail address) are correct at UCAS.
