By Road

The University has good road connections from the A55 North Wales Expressway. Use postcode LL57 1UT for route planning.

By Rail

Bangor’s closest major airports are Manchester and Liverpool John Lennon; both have good road and rail links. The local Anglesey Airport provides daily flights to Cardiff.

The port of Holyhead (about 30 minutes from Bangor by car or train) has ferry services to Ireland provided by Irish Ferries and Stena Line.
