Claire Davis, Senior Planning Officer (REF Manager)

Claire is the central contact point for all REF related issues across the Institution and plays a lead role across the University in relation to oversight and management of research information for the Research Excellence Framework (REF), supporting the Pro Vice-Chancellor (Research) and the Associate Pro Vice-Chancellor (REF) in developing the University’s REF strategy.  Claire also contributes to the development and implementation of the planning process for the University, providing support and advice in relation to strategic and business planning, and strategic approval of new programmes, for the College of Medicine & Health. Additionally, Claire plays a lead role in the management, development, promotion and training for the University’s research information system, PURE. Claire is a member of the Research Committee and the REF Delivery Group.
