All candidates should complete the self-declaration form.
Criminal Records Checks
Your place on the course is subject to a satisfactory enhanced DBS check for the child and adult workforce including a check of the barred lists.
Applicants who have lived outside the UK are also required to undertake a criminal records check in their countries of residence.
You need to apply for the criminal records checks before the start of the course, please do not delay this process as that could result in you missing the start of your placement.
We will contact you up to three months prior to the start of the course with details of how to undertake these checks, you must wait for this information before applying for your checks.

Occupational Health Checks
Your place on the course is subject to a satisfactory health check. We will contact you up to three months prior to the start of the course with details of how to undertake these checks, you must wait for this information before applying for your checks.
Verification of Academic Qualifications
Candidates who are offered a place on the Undergraduate Nursing course will be required to provide evidence of Academic Qualifications achieved. Successful applicants will be contacted by Admissions personnel with instructions on how this can be done.
