Learning Outcomes
- Critically review all aspects of public protection incidents including and understanding of the impact of abuse upon victims and understanding the impact of personal attitudes and values upon the investigation process.
- Critically review and demonstrate ethical and inclusive approaches to community policing.
- Critically review the links between Serious and Organised Crime Groups and public protection issues and critically assess police strategies for dealing with public protection incidents.
- Examine the principles and values of community policing.
- Review the relationships between diverse communities and the police.
- Understand and employ relevant strategies and initiatives to deliver effective community policing.
