Overview
This module is designed for post-graduate students interested in exploring the ethical implications of practical issues in various fields. Students will have the opportunity to select a topic of interest and conduct in-depth research on the ethical considerations associated with it. The course will help students develop skills in critical thinking, research methodology, and ethical analysis.

-threshold -(D) Some consideration given to planning and structure, limited in depth of analysis and use of research, but demonstrating some understanding of the subject matter.
-good -(B) Shows significant insight, offers sustained and relevant analysis, well researched and referenced and written with a clear structure and style.

Learning Outcomes
- To design and undertake a programme of detailed research leading to the written presentation of conclusions in the form of an essay
- To participate in curent debates concerning issues relating to philosophy and or religious studies.
- To read critically both primary and secondary texts relating to specific and abstract principles of philosophy and or religious studies
- To structure a complex argument, in essay form, relating to philosophical and or religious issues of contemporary concern
