Project title; The Amazon as a Dynamic Social-Ecological System – Quantifying the links between climate, indigenous people, and biodiversity in the Pacaya-Samiria National Reserve, Peru.
I am researching the impacts of climate change on the biodiversity and indigenous Cocama people of the Pacaya-Samiria National Reserve in the Peruvian Amazon. I aim to quantify these impacts by implementing both ecological and social science methods in order to provide a deeper understanding of tropical ecosystems and climate change.
