Mae Kalpa Pisavadia yn Swyddog Cefnogi Project Ymchwil yng Nghanolfan Economeg Iechyd a Gwerthuso Meddyginiaethau (CHEME), Prifysgol Bangor. Ar hyn o bryd, mae Kalpa yn rhan o baratoi adolygiadau cyflym ar gyfer Canolfan Dystiolaeth ymchwil Iechyd a Gofal Cymru a phrosiect MAP ALLIANCE, sy'n ymchwilio ar sut i ddarparu gwell gofal iechyd meddwl i fenywod yn ystod y cyfnod amenedigol. Mae gan Kalpa ddiddordeb arbennig mewn gwella bywydau pobl o statws economaidd-gymdeithasol isel ac ymyriadau iechyd a all gyfrannu tuag at newid systemau. Yn ogystal, yn y rôl hon, mae Kalpa hefyd yn aelod o fwrdd rheoli Economeg Iechyd a Gofal Cymru fel cyd-arweinydd ym maes cyfathrebu a throsglwyddo gwybodaeth. Enillodd Kalpa BA gydag anrhydedd dosbarth cyntaf yn y Dyniaethau (Prifysgol Agored) ac yna cwblhau Gradd Meistr y Celfyddydau mewn Llenyddiaeth Saesneg o Brifysgol Bangor.
