International Year Zero*

Successful completion of Certificado de Educación Secundaria Común Completa with five (5) subjects overall 12/20.

*International Year Zero is the first year of our 4 year International Incorporated Bachelor degree and is taught on campus at Bangor University International College and delivered by our partner Oxford International Education Group.
 

International Year 1 - Business, Management and Finance

Successful completion of Certificado de Educación Secundaria Común Completa with five (5) subjects overall 17/20, including relevant subjects may be considered for direct entry onto the International Year 1*.

Or Pass a recognised foundation course.

*The International Year 1 is the first year of our 3 year Bachelor Degrees in Business, Management & Finance provides an intensive combination of first year university subject modules with extra study and English language skills, and is taught on campus at Bangor University International College and delivered by our partner Oxford International Education Group.
 

Undergraduate/Bachelor Degree

• Successful completion of Certificado de Educación Secundaria Común Completa overall 19/20, including relevant subjects.
• A recognised foundation is required for courses with subject-specific requirements.
• For courses with a Level 3 subject specific requirement BU will only accept A-levels, International Baccalaureate, or a Foundation course

Mature students will be considered on a case by case basis.

Entry into Year 2 will be considered for students with a HND or at least one year of study at a University overseas or in the UK.

If you do not meet our requirements then we will consider you for entry onto the International Year Zero.
 

Postgraduate/Master Degree

Grado Academico de Bachiller.
Or
Titulo de Licenciado/Titulo (Profesional) de (subject area).

Required grade: minimum 12 out of 20

Mature students will be considered on a case by case basis.

If you do not meet the requirements for entry onto a Masters Degree in Bangor Business School then we can consider you for entry onto *International Incorporated Masters

*The pre-masters part of our International Incorporated Masters is taught on campus at Bangor University International College and delivered by our partner Oxford International Education Group.

Postgraduate Research/PhD

Good grades in Bachelor degree and a Masters degree. Previous research experience is essential.

English Language Requirements

IELTS 6.0 (5.5) or equivalent. Some courses have higher English Language Requirements.

For students educated in English or from an English speaking country we may be able to waive the requirement, if you can provide evidence that you achieved a minimum of a C or equivalent in your high school English (higher for some courses) or a letter from your University confirming your bachelor degree was taught in English.

* Note: In such cases, candidate details will be shared with Bangor University International College which delivers the 1st year of the 4-year degree course, and Pre-Masters component of the Masters degree course in partnership with Bangor University. Candidate details will not be shared with any other third party organisations.
 

• International Year Zero: High school certificate or equivalent from your home country + IELTS 5.5 (5.5)
• International Year 1: School leaving qualification equivalent to the British school leaving qualification (A-levels / IB) + IELTS 5.5 (5.5)
• Undergraduate Courses: School leaving qualification equivalent to the British school leaving qualification (A-levels / IB) or the University may also recognise relevant professional experience of 2 years or longer for entry onto our degree programmes + IELTS 6.0 (5.5)
• Postgraduate Courses: Undergraduate / bachelor degree of equivalent standard to the British undergraduate/bachelor degree or the University may also recognise relevant professional experience of 2 years or longer for entry onto our degree programmes + IELTS 6.0 (5.5)
• PhD/Research Course: Postgraduate / Master’s Degree of equivalent standard to the British Postgraduate / Master’s Degree + IELTS 6.0 (5.5)

Applicants from some countries do NOT need to provide additional evidence of English Language ability, if previous education was with English medium of instruction. Otherwise, an IELTS overall 6.0 with 5.5 in each component or equivalent is normally required (some courses may require a higher score.
