Meet the Executive Dean and Director of International Relations at Bangor College China
Professor Wing Lam is the Executive Dean and Director of International Relations at Bangor College China, and is a multi-award-winning entrepreneur turned academic, gaining acclaim in the categories of leadership, teaching and research.
Before pursuing an academic career, Professor Lam spent nearly ten years in commerce in the fields of international trading, consultancy and internal auditing in her native Hong Kong, and her international industrial and academic background help to shape her down-to-earth approach to her academic career.
Aiming to bridge the gap between the academic community and the business world, Professor Lam has been actively involved in research and outreach activities which emphasise both practical and theoretical values. Her research interests include innovation & entrepreneurship, entrepreneurial finance and crowdfunding, female entrepreneurship and family business. She has published widely and has won several best paper awards as a single-author and co-author.
