Gweithio ar draws disgyblaethau
Mae ein hymchwil yn rhychwantu amrywiol dacsonau, gan gynnwys archesgobion Affricanaidd a wiwerod coch, coed prin ym Mhrydain ac ymlusgiaid, rhedyn epiffytig a phryfed peillio, mangrofau a physgod riffiau.
Rydym yn casglu data cymdeithasol ac ecolegol ledled y byd, rydym yn gwneud gwaith labordy, ac yn defnyddio modelau cyfrifiadurol soffistigedig i fynd i’r afael â chwestiynau ar amrywiol raddfeydd gofodol, gan gynnwys organebau unigol a systemau byd-eang. Rydym yn cydweithio ag amrywiaeth o brifysgolion, sefydliadau cadwraeth, asiantaethau’r llywodraeth a grwpiau cymunedol lleol yn y Deyrnas Unedig a ledled y byd, ac rydym yn gweithio ar draws y disgyblaethau i lywio arferion cadwraeth.
Ein cryfderau
Mae gennym gryfderau penodol mewn atebion sy’n seiliedig ar fyd natur i newidiadau amgylcheddol, y man canol rhwng cadwraeth bioamrywiaeth, ymddygiad dynol a thlodi, effeithiau amaethyddiaeth ar fioamrywiaeth, dad-ddofi tir, gwerthuso effaith yn gadarn, gwrthdaro mewn cadwraeth, a chyfraniad ymdrechion ex-situ at nodau cadwraeth.
