Why Bangor?
When I took the decision that I would study abroad, at that time I researched all the Universities around the World and I chose the UK. I then researched the Universities who have Biomedical Science courses and I saw that Bangor has the module which matched with my interest, so that is why I choose Bangor University.
The International Mentor Scheme
Leaving my own country and coming to a different country was not easy and also the time before my arrival I had so many thoughts going on in my mind and so many questions. I found some helpful people at the university and I was able to email them.
The most difficult thing about being an International Student?
At first home sickness, then the study here does not match with my country, it is a huge difference, and adapting to a new culture. All those together can be challenging.
The course
My course is so good, and the lecturers are also very good.
The lecturers
My academic school is so good. It is true that at first, I did not understand the criteria and anything about my study, but my personal tutor helped me a lot. I also received help from my teachers.
Clubs and Societies
I am involved in the Chess club and the Medical Sciences Societies. I love to enjoy volunteering and helping others.
What's the best thing about living in Bangor?
Bangor is so peaceful, kept well and quiet. A small town with lots of love. I will miss everything, just everything when I leave Bangor.
Support from the University
Yes, they are too supportive, they have helped me a lot with everything.
Advice for new International students
I will advise them that they will take the best decision in their life to come to university and just directly email the University for information.
The Future
I want to be a scientist and I want to succeed in my project in real life, which is the reason I have come to study at Bangor University.
